Everyone is welcome to join in and help spot wildlife! Use the command !spot in the live chat, and your observation will appear on the stream for others to see.
Example:
!spot pheasant
If you see it live on screen, no timestamp is needed. If it was earlier in the stream, add the time after an @ symbol:
Example:
!spot pheasant @14:35
All spots are saved and added to the video description with timestamp bookmarks, so you can revisit them after the stream ends. These videos are archived in the Past Live Streams playlist:

We’ve been collecting observations since August 2021, building an impressive database that helps us track species and generate useful statistics.
Please keep your spots accurate so the data stays reliable.
If you make a mistake, let us know so we can correct it.
1 Spot Per Species Per Show – Everyone gets one spot per species per show!
Membership Perks – The higher your membership level, the more extra spots you unlock!
Thank you for taking part and helping us make this project amazing!
Channel Members can use the !view command in live chat to switch the current camera view. The number of times you can change the view depends on your membership level.
There are 4 main scenes based on the time of day:
Dawn / Day / Dusk / Night
Each scene also has additional camera angles you can choose from.
When you use !view, your selected view will stay active for 5 minutes, then automatically revert to the standard scene for that time of day.
Example:
!view GF
To cancel your view change, use:
!unview
Each camera option is listed next to the clock on the stream for easy reference.
Members can use the !wildlife command followed by the name of a bird or mammal spotted on the live stream to get interesting stats about that species.
Example:
!wildlife pheasant
You can also use !last to find out when that species was last spotted:
Example:
!last pheasant
